What You Will Be Doing
Essential Job Functions
  • Interview and recommend candidates for hiring; manage wage discussions.
  • Update menu engineering tools monthly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and food costs.
  • Adjust staffing levels based on business needs.
  • Create and update menus and training documents.
  • Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and rotation.
  • Train staff in safety procedures and food preparation.
  • Participate in meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements

Regular attendance and flexibility in work schedule are essential. Compliance with all hotel rules, safety, and health regulations is mandatory. The role may evolve, and additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Physical ability to handle food and equipment, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work under stress and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Understanding of food and beverage industry trends and regulations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple areas of the restaurant and kitchen.
Qualifications

High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years culinary leadership experience, preferably in a hotel setting.

Licenses & Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Alcohol Certification, including Manager Certification.
  • Food Handler’s Certification.
