As a Restaurant Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of all back-of-the-house functions and for providing the finest food for our customers. This includes leading all kitchen employees and ensuring recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet Carrabba's standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct and monitor prep staff, ensuring food quality and consistency
  • Assist in hiring and training back-of-the-house staff
  • Implement security protocols to ensure safety for employees and guests
  • Prepare kitchen equipment and areas daily to enhance productivity and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational standards, laws, and health inspections
  • Maintain operational standards including line checks, recipe adherence, and cook times
  • Verify all menu items are prepared according to recipes and standards
  • Manage staffing levels and shift assignments
  • Keep kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Monitor inventory and place food and supply orders
  • Set a positive example for customer service and teamwork
Job Requirements

Dependability, self-reliance, and passion for food and customer service are essential. Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude are vital.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience (culinary or kitchen management preferred)
  • Experience in full-service casual dining or casual plus environments preferred
  • Experience with scratch kitchens is a plus
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Relocation ability and bilingual skills are a plus
