Job summary

Chick-fil-A Bellevue is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch service, and uphold restaurant standards.

You will manage team breaks, coaching, staffing, and opening/closing duties, while delivering friendly hospitality and guiding guests and Team Members. Ideal candidates have leadership experience, reliability, energy, and are able to work varied shifts, including Fridays and Saturdays.

Job description

As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily shift operations, ensuring top-notch service and compliance with company standards. Specific responsibilities will include food safety, team member breaks, speed-of-service, labor goals, as well as, opening, closing, and managing the restaurant in leu of other leadership.

We are looking for friendly, hard working, responsible, energetic, and enthusiastic leaders who enjoy interacting with customers and have the desire to provide exceptional experiences for everyone they serve.

Required Experience:

Previous management/leadership experience is required; prior restaurant industry experience preferred.

Position Type:

Full-time or Part-time

Hours:

We operate Monday through Saturday, 6:30am to 10:00pm.

We are looking to fill shifts between the hours of 5:45am and 4:00pm, and then also 2:00pm and 10:45pm, Monday through Saturday.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

Work hands-on in daily operations 95% or more of the time

Oversee Team Member breaks.

Help with in-the-moment coaching and training.

Manage staffing levels to help achieve business goals.

Run shifts by assigning Team Members in positions.

Act as a subject matter expert for hospitality, customer service, and kitchen support

Smile.

Maintain a clean restaurant.

Create and maintain eye contact.

Speak Enthusiastically.

Make Emotional Connections with Guests and Team Members.

Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant.

Multi-task often and move quickly, yet thoroughly.

Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.

Communicate effectively with guests. leaders, and Team Members.

Adhere to and help enforce Chick-fil-A Bellevue's rules and policies at all times.

Must also be available to close at least 3 nights each week, and 1 of those must be a Friday or Saturday night.

All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays. This allows our team to have a consistent day off to spend with family and friends.

There may be an all leadership meeting scheduled on a Sunday.
