Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking upbeat, motivated kitchen line workers in Cincinnati, OH to join our team. You will help with food prep, plating to specification, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dish areas.

This full-time position offers a professional yet fast-paced environment, a wage of $17–$19 per hour, and growth potential in both pay and responsibilities. Reliable transportation is required, and availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and at least one other weeknight

Job description:

We are looking for upbeat, motivated, and detailed individuals with reliable transportation to join our kitchen staff as kitchen line workers. Job duties include maintaining cleanliness around our kitchen and dish areas, assistance with food prep, and plating courses to spec. We offer a professional yet fun environment to work in and this position also has growth potential in wage and responsibilities. $17-19/hour

Prep Line workers are responsible for cutting, chopping, washing, plating and ensuring food quality while building all items to spec. We do not cook on grills or in ovens and we do not cook the proteins for our guests because that happens at the table. Attention to detail and cleanliness are the most important aspects of this job besides the volume of orders. We're looking for a full time individual that's available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and at least one other week night.

Ultimately, you’ll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Plating items to spec
• Attention to detail and high quality standards
• Delivering quality items in a high volume manner
• Must be willing to work as part of a team
• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, silverware)
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
