Job summary

Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar in Hershey, PA, seeks a Full-Time Team Member to lead kitchen operations, manage staff, ensure food safety, and uphold quality and presentation. The role integrates menu development with cost control and high-volume service in a renowned dining venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a line cook in a la carte, banquet, free-standing restaurant, hotel, and/or resort atmosphere.
• 18 years of age or older; valid driver’s license.
• Completion of high school or GED; Associate’s degree - Culinary Arts.
• Post-Employment: RAMP Certification, ServSafe Allergen, and ServSafe Manager Certifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise food preparation, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen.*
• Assist with interviewing, training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating kitchen staff.*
• Drive menu development and maintain updated costing.*
• Analyze recipes and plate presentation.*
• Order food and requisition supplies.*
• Control food inventory levels and food and labor costs.*
• Maintain equipment in good working order and submit regular service repairs and requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
