Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in North Carolina is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, ensure quality, and train Crew members for future leadership roles. You will manage inventory, maintain safety standards, and promote teamwork across back-of-house and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized properly.
• Monitor equipment and repair as needed to keep it in good condition.
• Ensure crews meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory rotation.
