Chipotle Mexican Grill in Providence, RI is looking for a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and maintain equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork to provide an excellent customer experience. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
