Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will oversee food quality, order supplies, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

In this role you will ensure food safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and mentor your team to meet daily goals. Chipotle offers tuition assistance, free food, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
