Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will ensure delicious, safe food and oversee ordering and training for future Kitchen Leaders.

You will promote teamwork, keep the kitchen organized and well stocked, and model the standard for Crew performance. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience and maintaining high food quality.

Qualifications

• Must understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventories; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
