Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train others to become future Kitchen Leaders while ensuring food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen.

You’ll model teamwork and help deliver an excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes on-the-job learning, leadership development, and supporting Crew members across back and front of house as you promote food safety and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained.
