Modern Market is seeking a Back of House / Culinary Team member in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. At Thrive Restaurant Group, we cook from scratch and value living a healthy lifestyle, guest experience, and teamwork.

This role involves leading prep cooks and dishwashers, executing recipes with precision, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced open-kitchen setting. We hire PEOPLE and train them on onboarding; restaurant experience helps, but it's not required.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and update menus several times a year embodying our brand and showcasing seasonal ingredients.
• Lead back-of-house staff, including prep cooks and dishwashers; provide guidance and training.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency.
• Continuously expand culinary knowledge of techniques and best practices.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all food meets culinary and safety standards.
• Comply with restaurant standards for safety, hygiene and quality.
• Manage trash, cardboard and recyclables.
• Handle kitchen equipment and clean spills promptly throughout the shift.
