Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Manager Certificate accepted by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
• Two years of food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation, service of meals and kitchen cleanup.
• Open and close the kitchen as needed; supervise staff.
• Order, receive and store products aligned with menu needs; manage deposits and recordkeeping.
• Lead kitchen personnel and assist Manager with staff evaluations.
• Ensure safety and sanitation policies are followed in the kitchen.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and parents.
