The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is seeking a seasoned Kitchen Lead to run the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager. You will lead daily operations, ensure every order is prepared accurately, and uphold presentation and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant kitchen leadership or lead cook role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable with outstanding attendance and punctuality.
• Calm under pressure during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the kitchen leader when the Kitchen Manager is not on duty.
• Ensure recipes, portions, and procedures are followed.
• Maintain high food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Ensure plates meet company standards and are safe to serve.
• Monitor ticket flow and coordinate with Front of House.
• Coach teammates and uphold company policies and sanitation standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Communicate product or operational concerns to management.
• Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and teamwork.
• Fill in at any station as needed to support operations.
