Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a dedicated Utility Cleaner to support our culinary operations in Las Vegas. This role emphasizes high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficient sanitation of kitchen equipment and areas.

You will perform deep cleaning of stoves, ovens, floors, and be thorough in high-dusting across kitchen and beverage outlets, while following OSHA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• STA Kitchen Worker certification preferred.
• Knowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely guest service and maintain cleanliness in accordance with guest service culture.
• Deep clean kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfaces.
• Conduct high-dusting throughout kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shift.
• Transport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and internal controls and procedures.
