Job Description

Responsible for deep cleaning and washing walls, ceilings, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables, and cutting boards, as well as flatware, pots, and pans. Tasks include sweeping/mopping floors, breaking down and cleaning equipment, sorting, storing, transporting dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and garbage. Also, responsible for cleaning and polishing silver, flatware, and brass as needed, and transporting food products, supplies, and warewashing items.

• Create and ensure a positive environment emphasizing sanitation, product excellence, and service.
• Maintain high sanitation and guest service standards.
• Organize and maintain work areas.
• Follow all health codes and company guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Work accurately with attention to detail.
• Comply with health department codes and departmental policies.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in other areas as directed.
• Handle dishes and flatware, wash and store pots and pans properly.
• Clean walls, ceilings, baseboards, floor drains, sinks, tables, and cutting boards.
• Sweep and mop all floors.
• Transport garbage from all kitchen areas.
