Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Utility Worker at WEST VIRGINIA STATE UNIVERSITY to support kitchen and facility operations with cleaning, sanitation and organization across food production and service areas. You may handle dishwashing, surface cleaning, and supply restocking while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Re-stocks supplies, such as soap, paper towels and cleaning materials.
• Attends work and shows up on time for scheduled shifts.
