Wage Scale

$16.50 - $30 per hour. This position is eligible for tips.

This position will earn a base hourly rate between $16.50/hour and $30.00/hour and will be eligible to participate in our company tip pool. Our tip pool distributions fluctuate, and we cannot guarantee a certain distribution. However, on average, employees in this same position may make between $3.00and $8.00in tips per hour.

TheKitchen Expeditor, is the food expert in our building and acts as a resource for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) partners regarding dish ingredients, allergies, and special requests. As the final check for quality control, the Expo is responsible for ensuring consistent, quality, and to-spec food is delivered to the guest every time.

Duties

  • Communicate with the team to deliver perfect food coordination.
  • Work as a team with Chef/Sous Chef team, quality checking all food before it leaves the kitchen.
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately.
  • Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years culinary experience(If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
  • Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
  • Thrive in adynamic,fast-paced work environment.
  • Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
