Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or expo experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during rushes.
• Clear communication with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of food from kitchen to dining room and call tickets.
• Check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and quality.
• Communicate with cooks and servers to keep orders moving smoothly.
• Track ticket times and flag delays before they affect guests.
• Organize orders during high-volume rushes.
• Keep expo station clean and stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with plating and garnishing as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room, calling out tickets and managing ticket times
• Check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and quality before it leaves the kitchen
• Communicate clearly and continuously with cooks and servers to keep orders moving smoothly
• Track ticket times and flag delays before they become a guest issue
• Organize and prioritize orders during high-volume rushes
• Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Assist with plating and garnishing as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

What You Bring

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, or expo experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and clear-headed during busy rushes
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Attention to detail — you catch what others miss
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
