Job summary

Houston Racquet Club is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. You will ensure proper cleaning of dishes, pots, and pans, operate dishwasher machinery, and help cooks with various tasks as needed.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, follow sanitation protocols, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team; some evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; experience is a plus.
• English required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check dishwasher machine temperatures and operate wash cycles.
• Wash and sanitize pots, sinks, and dish tables; ensure no food residue on dishes.
• Maintain dry, clean floors and back dock; clean and store equipment nightly.
• Assist Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chefs with assigned tasks as needed.
