Job summary

Thind Management in Houston is seeking a motivated restaurant dishwasher for our fine dining operation. You will help maintain a spotless kitchen by cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment, supporting the culinary team, and upholding health standards.

This role requires reliability, the ability to stand long hours, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Training will be provided to ensure consistent quality and safe, sanitary practices across the dining rooms and back-of-house.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a related role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and ready for use.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager.
• Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef.
