Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing/kitchen helper to maintain cleanliness and support daily store operations. You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, restock, and assist with deliveries while delivering courteous, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
