Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to handle dishwashing and maintain a clean kitchen area. You will ensure a positive brand image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

You may assist with deliveries and must follow store procedures and safety regulations. Responsibilities include dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness, aiding with product rotation and stocking, as well as opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfort with standing and walking during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; performs required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Complies with health, sanitation, and safety procedures and maintains clean work areas.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
