Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to perform dishwashing and maintain kitchen cleanliness. You will support the store by providing courteous service and following health and safety regulations, while assisting with deliveries and product rotation.

This role requires reliability, the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and a flexible schedule. Experience is not required; the position offers entry-level responsibilities with opportunities to learn and advance within the store

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; participates in trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and communicates effectively with customers and team members.
• Ensures proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures per guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment; reports hazards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and verifies signage and pricing.
