Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a diligent Kitchen Team Member to support dishwashing and overall kitchen cleanliness in Austin. You will provide friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexibility for shift times, and teamwork to ensure proper storage, rotation, and merchandising of products. Training and safety compliance are part of everyday duties.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous customer service and assists customers and Team Members as needed.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising of products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practice procedures.
• Keeps the workspace clean and equipment maintained per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties with accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
