Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a team member responsible for dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen area.

You will ensure a positive store image, assist with deliveries, and support health, safety, and sanitation standards while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members. Expected to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy and reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership.
