Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Sacramento is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support food safety standards.

You will wash dishes, stock supplies, and assist with opening/closing duties while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members. No retail experience is required; must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
