Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Buffalo, NY, is seeking a team member to support kitchen cleanliness and dishwashing duties. You will maintain sanitation, assist with deliveries, and help ensure excellent customer service across shifts.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will work under store procedures and contribute to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; handles equipment per safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
