Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member for dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness. The role supports our positive brand image by being courteous, friendly, and efficient with customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with deliveries, and following safety regulations. The position may require lifting and working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members; responds to phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy and reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership.
