Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a Design-Build Sales & Project Manager to combine sales ability with design expertise and exceptional project coordination. The role focuses on developing kitchen layouts, proposals, and managing multiple projects from conception to completion.

You will build relationships with restaurant owners, operators, architects, and contractors while driving business growth and ensuring code-compliant, practical kitchen designs across Northern California.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, project management, design-build, construction, foodservice equipment, or a related industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Northern California as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial kitchen layouts and equipment specifications using AutoQuotes and related design software.
• Create professional proposals, equipment schedules, and project documentation.
• Assist clients in transforming concepts into practical, code-compliant kitchen designs.
• Review plans, field conditions, and project requirements to ensure successful execution.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with restaurant owners, operators, architects, and contractors.
• Coordinate project timelines, equipment deliveries, installations, and vendor communications.
• Schedule meetings, site visits, and project milestones to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Construction Management, or related field
