Job summary

California Chicken Café is hiring for back-of-house kitchen positions in Pasadena. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Roles may be full-time or part-time with early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities include preparing scratch-made recipes, maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, following health and safety regulations, labeling foods, and assisting guests with orders. Road to Success training is required within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Understand and speak basic English
• Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass California Food Handler/course per state law
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Prepare California Chicken Café's scratch-made recipes and keep back kitchen clean, organized and well stocked.
• Follow production lists accurately and efficiently.
• Store and label foods per Health Department regulations and company policy.
• Read, understand and execute recipes; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Make and package guest food orders; communicate any food quality or equipment issues.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
