Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Oakland, CA is seeking motivated individuals for Kitchen Crew Members to support back-of-house operations and deliver high-quality meals. This hourly role pays $20.00 per hour and offers part-time or full-time schedules in a fast-casual setting with an emphasis on freshness and guest satisfaction.

You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, follow health codes, and ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills, basic English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Part-time or full-time.
