Job summary

TemPositions Group of Companies is seeking dependable Porters/Dishwashers to maintain a clean, safe kitchen in a fast-paced environment. You will wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and support with cleaning duties while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior dishwashing or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using machines or by hand.
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and manage trash and recycling.
• Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies in designated storage areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and walk-in coolers.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Perform opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as scheduled.
