Devon Seafood + Steak Restaurant in Hershey, PA is hiring a part-time Team Member to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment. The position requires a friendly, professional image and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, cleaning dishes and surfaces, stocking service areas, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Weight lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment (including kitchens, storeroom and locker areas).
• Assisting food preparation whenever needed.
• Cleaning, washing and storing all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and related items.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and maintaining dishwashing areas.
• Cleaning out the dish machine after every meal.
• Stocking service areas with glassware, silver, and china; managing garbage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment at Devon Seafood and Steak Restaurant.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including cleaning of food service kitchens, storeroom and locker areas*

Assisting food preparation whenever needed*

Cleaning, washing and storing all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items*

Cleaning all kitchen surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling, etc.); maintaining clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas*

Cleaning out the dish machine after every meal*

Stocking all service areas within the kitchen with glassware, silver, china, etc.; emptying and scrubbing garbage containers when necessary*

Keeping garbage compactor area clean and neat; cleaning

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal

Ability to perform all job duties without close supervision

Job Demands:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical requirements include considerable walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
