Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company is seeking a Part-Time Team Member for Devon Seafood + Steak, an upscale dining experience in the historic Hershey Press Building. You will prepare all food items according to prep sheets and recipes, plate, garnish, and expedite service while maintaining kitchen sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Post-Employment – ServSafe Certification.
• Average to above knife skills.
• Ability to follow and troubleshoot recipes.
• Ability to efficiently set up and maintain workstation.
• Ability to demonstrate the outlet style of cuisine through food tasting and preparation.
• Ability to assist Chef with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Ability to handle prep work across 2–3 stations with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to prep sheets and standardized recipes with speed and consistency of quality.
• Cook, plate, garnish, and expedite food.
• Maintain communication with front of house staff to ensure timely service to the guests.
• Use safe food handling procedures.
• Help develop daily specials.
• Assist with training.

• Ensure that all work areas remain clean and organized.
• Ensure that all food products are stored properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Devon Seafood + Steak is an upscale seafood restaurant located in the historic Hershey Press Building. We are committed to utilizing sustainable methods that offer fresh fish and premium steaks grilled over a mesquite wood flame. This position is responsible for meticulously prepared dishes while maintaining kitchen sanitation.
