Job summary

Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company is seeking a Part-Time Team Member for Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar in downtown Hershey. You will help maintain sanitation, assist in food preparation, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced, chocolate-inspired setting.

As part of the opening team, you’ll enjoy sweet perks including free admission and parking to Hersheypark, plus discounts on food and shopping, and more after receiving your Employee ID. Weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform duties without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including cleaning of food service kitchens, storeroom and locker areas*
• Assisting food preparation whenever needed
• Cleaning, washing, and storing all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items*
• Cleaning all kitchen surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling, etc.); maintaining clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas*
• Cleaning out the dish machine after every meal*
• Stocking all service areas within the kitchen with glassware, silver, china, etc.; emptying and scrubbing garbage containers when necessary
• Keeping the garbage compactor area clean and neat; cleaning hood areas and screens about cooking areas*
• Performing other duties as assigned

Be part of the opening team at Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar, downtown Hershey’s newest restaurant and bar. Located near the iconic intersection of Cocoa and Chocolate Avenue, Hershey Social features bold flavors, signature cocktails, and over-the-top desserts inspired by Hershey’s chocolate roots.

Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including cleaning of food service kitchens, storeroom, and locker areas.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including cleaning of food service kitchens, storeroom and locker areas*

Assisting food preparation whenever needed

Cleaning, washing, and storing all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items*
