MDG Flooring America is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Specialist in North Olmsted, Ohio. This full-time, on-site role blends design expertise with consultative selling to help homeowners transform spaces.

You will guide clients from initial consultation through space planning, product selection, estimates, and closing, while collaborating with our installation team to ensure a exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and bath design or cabinetry sales.
• Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, space planning, and remodeling materials.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales experience with follow-up and closing.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., 2020 Design).

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to understand remodeling goals, design preferences, and budgets.
• Create kitchen and bathroom designs and layouts.
• Assist with cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, flooring, and other selections.
• Develop design presentations, estimates, and proposals.
• Guide customers through the sales process from consultation to closing.
• Coordinate showroom consultations and in-home appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and installation teams for smooth projects.
• Build long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate project records and sales documentation.
• Stay current on kitchen and bath trends.
• Participate in ongoing sales training and product education.
