Hammond Lumber Company in Brunswick, Maine is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer at our Brunswick location. You will elicit customer requirements, design and price kitchen and bath solutions, and present accurate proposals using 20/20 Design.

The role involves field measuring, ordering cabinetry and materials, and preparing sales agreements. You will coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and bath design or with 20/20 Design is preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials (2 years) preferred.
• Excellent telephone skills preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Elicit from customers the information required to draft a kitchen or bathroom per their specs.
• Design, draw, price and present estimates and proposals for Kitchen and Bath projects using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Field measure each project to obtain accurate custom measurements.
• Order cabinetry, countertops, flooring and accessories as required.
• Maintain open communication with all parties involved in the project and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Comply with company procedures on sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
