Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer for our Boothbay, Maine location. The designer will work closely with customers to capture their specifications, then design, price, and present accurate kitchen or bath proposals using 20/20 Design.

The role includes measuring sites, ordering cabinetry and finishes, and preparing Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders. Candidate should be self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, with strong

• Experience in Kitchen and Bath design or 20/20 design preferred
• 2 years knowledge of building materials preferred
• Excellent telephone skills preferred
• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Elicit from customers the information required to draft a kitchen or bathroom according to their specifications.
• Design, draw, price and present accurate estimates and proposals for Kitchen and Bath projects using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Field measure each project to obtain accurate custom measurements.
• Order all cabinetry, countertops, and accessories as required for each project.
• Maintain open communication with all parties involved in the project and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Comply with company procedures on sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
