Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Belgrade, ME is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer to work at our Belgrade location. You will elicit customer requirements, draft designs and proposals using 20/20 Design, and prepare sales agreements.

Field measurements and ordering cabinetry, countertops and accessories are required to ensure accurate projects. The ideal candidate has experience in kitchen and bath design, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kitchen & Bath design is preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials is a plus.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit from customers the information required to draft a kitchen or bathroom according to their specifications.
• Design, draw, price and present estimates and proposals using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Field measure each project for accurate custom measurements.
• Order cabinetry, countertops, flooring and accessories as required.
• Maintain open communication with all parties and follow up on inquiries.
• Follow company procedures on sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
