Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer to help customers turn their ideas into functional, stylish spaces.

You will design, measure, price and present accurate estimates for Kitchen and Bath projects using 20/20 Design, prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders, and coordinate orders with suppliers.

This role rewards meticulous craftsmanship, strong customer service, and collaboration with our team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing kitchens and baths.
• Ability to translate customer ideas into accurate plans.
• Strong communication with clients during the design process.

Responsibilities

• Elicit from customers the information required to draft a kitchen or bathroom according to their specifications.
• Design, draw, price and present accurate estimates and proposals for Kitchen and Bath projects using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Field measure each project to obtain accurate custom measurements.
• Order all cabinetry, countertops, flooring and accessories as required for each project.
• Maintain open communication with all parties involved in the project and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Comply with company procedures on sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
