Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Rochester, NH is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer to help customers design kitchens and baths using 20/20 Design. The designer will draft proposals, price projects, and prepare sales agreements for projects at our Rochester location.

The ideal candidate has experience in kitchen and bath design or proficiency with 20/20 Design, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; training is available for the right

Qualifications

• Experience in Kitchen and Bath design or 20/20 design preferred.
• 2 years knowledge of building materials preferred not required.
• Willing to train the right candidate for the position.
• Excellent telephone skills preferred.
• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Elicit from customers the information required to draft a kitchen or bathroom according to their specifications.
• Design, draw, price and present accurate estimates and proposals for Kitchen and Bath projects using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.

• Order all cabinetry, countertops, flooring and accessories as required for each project.
• Maintain open communication with all parties involved in the project and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Comply with company procedures on sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
