Job summary

Cape Associates is seeking an experienced kitchen and bath designer to design, specify and order cabinetry, while building strong client relationships on Cape Cod. You will manage multiple projects from schematic design through construction documentation, coordinating with engineers, shop staff and homeowners.

Proficiency in 20/20, Mozaik, AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office is preferred. The role emphasizes accuracy in measurements, high customer service, and the ability to handle fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience within kitchen and bath design.
• Experience with leading cabinetry brands.
• Experience estimating projects.
• Proficient in 20/20.
• Experience with Mozaik, AutoCAD and SketchUp preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design, sell and order cabinetry projects.
• Cultivate relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Manage multiple design projects from various project managers and clients.
• Take projects from schematic design to permit level and construction documents.
• Design work ranges from millwork drawings to residential renovations.
• Perform field measurements and ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with engineers, designers, officials, vendors and contractors.
• Interact directly with homeowners.
• Oversee multiple kitchen/bath projects throughout the year.
• Sales goals for the first 12 months and annual growth.
