Hammond Lumber Company in Belgrade, Maine is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen & Bath Designer to assist customers with planning, designing, pricing and presenting kitchen and bath projects using 20/20 Design.

The role involves field measuring, ordering materials, preparing sales agreements, and coordinating with suppliers while providing excellent service and meeting project deadlines. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Kitchen and Bath design or 20/20 design preferred.
• 2 years knowledge of building materials preferred.
• Excellent telephone skills preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Elicit information from customers to draft a kitchen or bath per specifications.
• Design, draw, price and present accurate estimates using 20/20 Design.
• Prepare Sales Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Field measure each project for accurate measurements.
• Order cabinetry, countertops, flooring and accessories as required.
• Maintain open communication with all parties and follow up on inquiries.
• Comply with sales transaction paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
