Job summary

Ashby Lumber Company in Berkeley is seeking a full-time Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our retail or outside sales teams. You will design kitchens and baths, interpret blueprints, and manage estimates, orders, and paperwork with accuracy to support sales and installations.

The right candidate will multitask, provide excellent customer service, learn 20/20 Design software, transfer data to Excel, and collaborate with designers and tradespeople while upholding company policies and safety

Qualifications

• Experience designing kitchens and baths for residential spaces.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to manage client expectations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to inform design.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly in the showroom.
• Design kitchens and bathrooms with clients.
• Process estimates, orders and invoices accurately.
• Coordinate stock materials or special orders with buyers/vendors.
• Provide complete paperwork for ordering, deliveries, and installations.
• Maintain professional attendance and safety compliance.
