Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker in Tempe, AZ to assist the manager with meal preparation and maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records. You will help in daily reports and uphold high standards of quality, sanitation and kitchen safety during food production and service.

The role involves preparing meals, maintaining clean work areas, serving meals, and supporting equipment care while following all safety, uniform, and process requirements.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing proficiency per instruction is required
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
• Food Service Certificate as needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality familiar foods and baked goods per planned menu
• Maintain daily transaction/meal records and daily reports
• Ensure sanitary handling and storage of food items
• Serve meals according to schedules and policies
• Use and care of kitchen equipment including knives
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers and equipment
• Adhere to food safety regulations and uniform policy
• Discuss daily menu with manager for accurate preparation
• Maintain clean, organized work and storage areas
• Handle housekeeping tasks like sweeping, mopping and ware washing
