  • Willingness to work a non-traditional five-day schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
  • Prepare a variety of foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, trays, according to customers’ orders following approved procedures.
  • Wash, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
  • Follow Heinen’s panning, packaging, and merchandising standards.
  • Acquire and share knowledge of Kitchen Department.
  • Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
  • Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
  • Work as a team to complete daily tasks including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating and merchandising.
  • Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
  • Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
