Qualifications

• Basic cooking skills required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Cook in all kitchen operations including food storage, preparation, and service.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the general kitchen area at all times.
• Ensure correct portioning of food items according to established standards.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate temperatures for items packaged for home meal delivery.
• Assist in maintaining the daily perpetual inventory system.
• Pre-prepare menu items as needed for upcoming menus.
• Ensure all food quality standards are consistently met.
• Comply with all foodservice safety and sanitation rules, as well as federal, state, and local regulations and health codes.
• Promote and uphold the Care Connection mission statement in all duties.
