Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Food Service Manager and Center Director in meal preparation and service for senior clients. The role includes setting up serving lines, packaging meals for home delivery, and helping maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a busy kitchen environment.

Applicants should have a grammar school education or higher, at least 3 months of food prep experience, and proficient English.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of health, safety, and fire prevention standards.
• Ability to follow menu plans and recipes.
• Ability to operate basic food service equipment.
• Ability to perform minimal heavy lifting and carrying.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation of meals following menus and instructions.
• Assist in setting up and serving meals according to portion guidelines.
• Package meals for delivery to homebound clients while maintaining temperature and appearance.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining safety, health, and fire prevention regulations.
• Contribute to duties as assigned by supervisor.
