Distinguishing Features of Work

Place of Employment: Mystic Creek Golf Course & Banquet Center, Camp Dearborn in Milford, Michigan.

Minimum Age: 16 years.

Hours/Period of Employment: Part-time position, primarily during the golf season starting in March. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Limited time off during the golf season; off-season schedule may be event-related and on-call.

General Description

The employee performs various duties as a Kitchen Assistant supporting the food & beverage operations at Mystic Creek Golf Course, under the direction of management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Physical Requirements

• Operate an automatic dishwasher and custodial equipment.
• Perform set-up and takedown duties.
• Perform routine food & beverage tasks.
• Clear tables and service patrons as needed.
• Answer inquiries and assist patrons.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with staff and the public.
• Experience in restaurant or food & beverage service is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
