Job summary

The Creamery Kitchen, operated by Dairy Farmers of America, is a quick-service restaurant inside The Creamery. The Kitchen Assistant will prepare hand-made, dairy-forward meals and serve customers with a friendly, fast, and accurate service approach.

You will work at various kitchen stations, learn all menu items, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Certificate and/or license — Food Handlers certificate (may be obtained within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items adhering to The Creamery Kitchen's recipes.
• Provide customers with outstanding service and quality food.
• Set-up, operate, and shut down daily station assignments.
• Maintain cleanliness at assigned station and preparation area.
• Operate cash register and handle money accurately.
• Follow health, safety, and HACCP guidelines.
